Common questions

How do I record a run?
Tap Record a run on the Home screen when you start down, and stop when you reach the bottom. Or turn on Ski day mode and OnSkii logs your runs and lift waits by itself.

Who can see me?
With a private profile (the default), only your friends see your runs and which mountain you're at. With a public profile, any OnSkii skier can. Your exact location is only shared with friends, and only when you turn on live location. Change it anytime in Settings.

Why are lift wait reports anonymous?
So anyone can report a line without worrying. Reports never show your name.

What is crash check-in?
An optional safety net: if you stop suddenly during Ski day mode and don't answer "Are you OK?", your friends are told where you stopped. It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact ski patrol or call 911.

Something looks wrong or someone is bothering me.
Press and hold a message, or tap “⋯ Report or block” on a run, to report it or block the person. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete my account. Everything is removed within a few minutes. You can also email us to ask.
